Training Objectives

This is Front Kick Focus. This is not a beginner or "from scratch" guide to the front kick. These are intermediate and advanced techniques, strategies and concepts to land more front kicks in sparring and competition. This course begins from the idea that you already have basic front kick of some kind, whether that is a snap kick or push kick or some other variation.

This course was designed to accomplish the following objectives:

  1. Make your lead leg more dangerous and threatening.
  2. Cover distance using the threat of your lead leg.
  3. Remain Balanced while covering that distance.
  4. Land more front kicks in sparring and competition.

Notice how they all kind of stack? That's where we got the word FOCUS.
